MANILA — According to the Philippine Daily Inquirer, the Senate impeachment court has restored the sub judice restriction for the case involving Vice President Sara Duterte, and the restriction now covers every article in the case, even those the prosecution had already withdrawn. The change was made in an order dated Nov. 5, the Inquirer reported. That order undid an earlier decision by presiding officer Francis "Chiz" Escudero, who had lifted the restriction. With the reversal, the limits that Escudero had removed are back in place for all of the articles, the Inquirer reported.
