North Korea fired multiple missiles toward its eastern waters, according to the Times of India, in a move the report said pointed to growing tensions with South Korea and the United States. The launches took place hours after North Korea denied involvement in a major cryptocurrency hack. The FBI had attributed the attack on Binance to North Korean hackers, a claim Pyongyang rejected. Kim Yo Jong, a senior North Korean official, criticized the American accusations and described them as part of a hostile policy toward North Korea. She also said dialogue would not resume until that policy changed.
