A woman has been confirmed dead and her teenage daughter is still unaccounted for following a suspected grizzly encounter in western Canada, according to the Guardian. The Guardian reported that the British Columbia conservation officer service announced on Tuesday via social media that a weekend search had been started for the pair. During that operation on Sunday, an officer discovered the mother's body. Efforts to locate the 19-year-old daughter continue, the Guardian reported. The episode occurred in a community that experienced a grizzly attack on schoolchildren earlier in the year, in November, as noted by the Guardian.
