According to Africanews, Commonwealth leaders have welcomed Britain's agreement to take part in dialogue concerning the historical harms of the transatlantic slave trade. The welcome was expressed during the closing press briefing of the Commonwealth Heads of Government meeting, Africanews reported. Africanews reported that the dialogue was described as time-bound, inclusive and in good faith.
