The Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) has written to Nigel Farage’s Reform UK party to ask what action it is taking to comply with the Equality Act, according to The Guardian. The watchdog raised concerns following revelations in an ITV undercover documentary, which was broadcast in October and showed councillors and candidates expressing racist and misogynistic views. The report noted that one of the party’s own MPs had complained about ingrained sexism, further fuelling the watchdog's worry over the party's commitment to equality standards.
