According to the Times of India, a Pennsylvania family has turned a sister's front yard into a Halloween destination with a homemade pirate ship measuring 70 feet. The vessel, named Miss Fortune, was built by Chris Clark. Work began in spring and continued over months of planning and building, with help from the community. Clark has a history of elaborate seasonal displays, with earlier efforts themed around a circus and a Western town. Costumed characters greet guests and add to the interactive atmosphere of the Halloween festivities.
