According to the Times of India, a man was killed in the Kalyanpur area of Kanpur after a speeding Thar collided with his scooter. The report said the force of the impact resulted in the rider being pulled along the road for close to 20 metres. Eyewitnesses told police the three occupants — two women and a man — shouted following the collision before leaving in a different vehicle, according to the Times of India. Police have taken possession of the body and are examining CCTV recordings from the vicinity as part of their investigation, the Times of India reported.
