VnExpress reported ECCO Vietnam halted production Monday afternoon in Bau Bang Commune, Ho Chi Minh City, starting dissolution and cutting 1,600 jobs.
According to VnExpress International, Danish footwear company ECCO Vietnam has closed its factory in Vietnam, with production stopped on Monday afternoon. The company has begun dissolution procedures at the plant in Bau Bang Commune of Ho Chi Minh City, and 1,600 workers will lose their jobs as a result of the shutdown.
