According to the Times of India, Bindulekha S rebuilt her livelihood after financial hardship followed the failure of her garment business during the Covid-19 pandemic. She took a loan of Rs 50,000 to begin producing pickles, and the products soon attracted customers. As demand grew, she broadened the range on offer. The Times of India reported that assistance from organisations enabled her to strengthen her food-processing methods and develop better marketing approaches. Her enterprise, Shri Krishna Pickles, has since grown to involve several women, and she has also opened a roadside eatery. The business was recently honoured at a major food fair, receiving national recognition for the quality and variety of its products.
