The Philippine Daily Inquirer reported that passengers in parts of Metro Manila will be able to travel on modern jeepneys without paying a fare from November 5 through November 14. According to the Department of Tourism, the complimentary service is intended as part of preparations for the 49th Association of Southeast Asian Nations Summit and Related Meetings.
