A man who raped his housemate after she rejected his relationship request has been sentenced to jail and caning, CNA reported.
According to CNA, a man has been sentenced to jail and caning for raping the woman he lived with after she turned down his request to start a relationship.
CNA reported that the man, who represented himself, challenged the prosecution's argument that the location made the offence more serious. Prosecutors argued it was an aggravating factor that the woman was raped in her own home, but the man contended that the home was also his.
