Westfield, New Jersey, has turned its connection to The Addams Family creator Charles Addams into a month-long Halloween destination. The cartoonist drew inspiration from the Victorian homes, cemetery and landmarks of his hometown.

AddamsFest includes public art, heritage tours, seasonal displays, screenings and community events celebrating the artist’s darkly comic legacy.
