Nearly 4,000 human remains at Tacloban City's public Catholic burial ground, El Reposo Cemetery, have not been claimed by their families, the Philippine Daily Inquirer reported. The city government and the local Catholic Church have urged relatives to move the remains to other burial sites, but the appeals have so far gone unanswered, according to the publication. The calls for retrieval or transfer are taking place ahead of the cemetery's planned rehabilitation.
