More than two dozen hospital trusts that NHS England says are benefiting from Palantir's artificial intelligence data platform have told The Guardian they are not using the system, or that it is not yet live. The 29 organisations appear on NHS England's public list of those realising benefits from the £330m federated data platform, but representatives say none of its applications are in operation at their hospitals. A senior health official described the discrepancy between the NHS claim and the trusts' statements as very misleading, according to the newspaper's exclusive reporting.
