MANILA, Philippines — Senator Loren Legarda has called on government agencies to review their own carbon footprints and show how they are reducing emissions, according to the Philippine Daily Inquirer. The Philippine Daily Inquirer reported that Legarda made the remarks in a statement on Wednesday, as the Philippine Carbon Market Policy Framework is being developed. Legarda said businesses are being asked to prepare for a more accountable, low-carbon economy, and that government must also be prepared to meet that standard.
