The Department of Transportation plans to deploy 20 buses offering discounted fares beginning Wednesday, Nov. 4, to assist with overflow passenger volume on the LRT-2, Transportation Secretary Vince Dizon said, according to the Philippine Daily Inquirer. Dizon made the announcement during an inspection of the LRT-2 Antipolo station, where he pointed to a shortage of carriages on the line, the Philippine Daily Inquirer reported. The LRT-2 operates 13 stations.
