MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine Daily Inquirer reported that Coron in Palawan and Dipolog in Zamboanga del Norte are expected to record the highest heat index, reaching 43°C, on Thursday, Nov. 5. The outlook is based on the latest heat index forecast issued by the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration, known as Pagasa, the state weather bureau.
