The Times of India reported that Delhi is introducing enhanced pollution control measures starting November 1, with the city government enforcing stricter anti-smog rules that will remain in place until January 31. Authorities are rolling out vehicle-entry curbs, urging reduced office attendance, and raising parking fees as part of the seasonal measures.
Construction work outdoors will be restricted over the winter months to limit dust emissions, according to the Times of India, while traffic arrangements will be changed to divert through-traffic away from the capital. Residents and vehicle owners have been asked to cooperate so the city can improve its air quality during the high-pollution season.
