LUCENA CITY — The University of the Philippines Los Baños has introduced a policy that has drawn criticism, the Philippine Daily Inquirer reported. Under the measure, security guards are prohibited from feeding or providing shelter to stray animals, with dogs singled out in particular. They are also barred from letting such animals roam or remain inside or around university buildings. The university said its internal security guards are assigned to ensure the security and safety of buildings.
