According to CNA, a man with a mental condition has pleaded guilty to attempting to kill a stranger at Kallang Wave Mall in Singapore. The individual faced charges related to attempted culpable homicide during a court appearance.

The victim, a 31-year-old woman, was socializing with her boyfriend and an acquaintance at the mall when she excused herself to use the restroom and was subsequently attacked. CNA reported that the incident unfolded in a public area.
