According to the Times of India, Eva Longoria has said that creating change in communities does not require billionaire-level wealth, two years after she received a major philanthropic award. The Times of India reported that the actor and philanthropist received $50 million in 2024 from Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez through the Bezos Courage and Civility Award. Speaking about the experience, Longoria highlighted alternatives to large-scale giving, including mentoring, supporting small businesses and sharing knowledge, as ways to make a meaningful difference.
